I.                  GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

A.      Marlboro Epic – Analog and Digital Raffle Promotion, Marlboro Instant Prize Lottery Promotion, Marlboro Flash Promotions (each a “Promotion”) (collectively “Promotions”), are open only to adult smokers (18 years old and above) residing in the Philippines and who are GIID (government issued ID) verified members of the Marlboro Adult Smoker Database (“Verified Members”).

B.      Adult Smokers (18 years old and above) must complete the following steps to register in Marlboro.ph (‘’Website’’) to be a Verified Member.

a.      Register with an OTP-Verified Philippine Mobile Number

b.      Completely fill out the registration form, providing true and accurate information, matching the information in the GIID.

c.      Types of Access to the Website based on Age Verification:

                                                     i.     Partial Access: Partial Access is given to adult smokers (18 years old and above) that successfully passed Selfie Age Verification - Access Control System (ACS), confirming that he/she is of legal age (18 years old and above). Account can earn points through Pack Code Input and Task Completion, but not participate in Promotions, use points, or earn raffle entries.

                                                    ii.     Full Access: (Verified Members) Granted to adult smokers (18 years old and above) that:

1.      Verified their account by uploading a photo or scanning of their valid GIID as proof of age; OR

2.      Presented their valid GIID to a PMFTC promoter or brand hostess during official on-ground brand events or activations

Verified Members can participate in all Promotions and have a chance to win.

d.      Adult Smokers (18 years old and above) with a completed registration Chesterfield.ph and / or Fortune.ph will have a pre-registered account in Marlboro.ph with equivalent access (Partial Access or Full Access) based on their verification status.

                                                     i.     Adult Smoker (18 years old and above) must agree with Marlboro.ph Promotion Terms and Conditions before they can access Marlboro.ph

C.     Adult Smokers (18 years old and above) that register in Marlboro.ph will have a pre-registered account to Chesterfield.ph and Fortune.ph. To access these websites, user can log-in with their Marlboro.ph credentials, after accepting the Promotion Terms and Conditions of Chesterfield.ph and / or Fortune.ph.

D.     To gain Full Access (Verified Member) to the Website, adult smokers (18 years old and above) must upload a photo or scan their valid GIID on Marlboro.ph, subject to PMFTC System Automated Verification.

E.      Submitted or scanned GIIDs are subject to PMFTC System Automated Verification:

a.      Submitted or scanned valid GIID must have the complete name, date of birth, and picture of the adult smoker (18 years old and above).

b.      Adult Smoker’s name and date of birth registered on the Website must match with the information provided by their GIID, otherwise their account will be deleted, and all their points / prizes forfeited.

c.      Only photos of the following valid GIIDs will be accepted for verification:

                                                     i.     Passport, Alien Certificate of Registration, Driver’s License, Firearms License, NBI Clearance Card, Philhealth ID, Postal ID, PRC ID, SSS ID, New Pag-Ibig ID (w/ date of birth), Tin ID, Unified Multi-Purpose ID, National ID, Senior Citizen ID, Voter’s ID.

F.      PMFTC reserves the right to reject GIIDs submitted due to (but not limited to) the following reasons:

a.      unclear, cropped, or blurry photo

b.      expired GIID

c.      GIID submitted is not included in the list of acceptable IDs

d.      Photocopy or scanned copy of GIID will not be accepted

e.      GIID is identified as edited or fake

f.        GIID has been used previously to verify another account

G.     Upon rejection, the adult smoker (18 years old and above) will be informed and may upload a photo of an acceptable GIID.

a.      Adult smokers (18 years old and above) will have up to 3 attempts to upload a photo of their valid GIID for PMFTC System Automated Verification

b.      After the 3^rd GIID verification failure, the Marlboro.ph will block further GIID verification attempts

                                                     i.     Only users with Partial Access may contact PMFTC to request for Manual Verification

1.      Adult Smokers (18 years old and above) must submit a photo of the front and back of their GIID, subject to PMFTC Verification

2.      Adult smokers (18 years old and above) may be required to submit a selfie with their GIID to further verify their identity and legitimacy of submitted ID, subject to PMFTC verification.

3.      If an adult smoker (18 years old and above) refuses to submit a selfie with their GIID, verification of account will no longer proceed, and their account will be deleted and result to forfeiture of all points.

                                                    ii.     Information of users that were unable to complete registration (due to failed ID Verification) will be deleted and can register again after 24 hours.

H.     The Promotion Period of the Promotions are as follows: 

a.      Marlboro Epic – Analog and Digital Raffle Promotion: September 1 to December 31, 2023

b.      Instant Prize Lottery Promotion: January 1 to December 31, 2023

c.      Flash Promotions: January 1 to December 31, 2023 – to go live as needed

PMFTC Inc. (“PMFTC”) has the sole discretion to shorten or extend the Promotion Period/s if circumstances so warrant.

I.        PMFTC reserves the right to modify, change, or revise the rules and mechanics of the Promotions.

J.      PMFTC reserves the right to hold, suspend, disqualify or block a Verified Member’s account or to disqualify and terminate his/her participation in the Promotions due to suspicious activity, fraud, or any irregular or illegal activity, such as but not limited to, selling of unique pack codes, multiple fraudulent registration attempts, and the use of fake / edited GIIDs/

K.      PMFTC reserves the right to cancel, amend, or revoke these terms and conditions without notice in the event of fraudulent activity, cheating, a security breach or any anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation, an event or disturbance outside of PMFTC’s control such as acts of God, civil or military events, catastrophes, technical issues/connectivity, pandemic or war. Any changes to the Promotions will be announced accordingly.

L.      Joining the Promotions is not mandatory. Verified Members may choose not to participate in the Promotions.

M.     Confirmation notices and/or messages, and eGift prizes will be sent to the Verified Member’s email address and/or mobile number as registered on the Website at the time win/awarding. It is the responsibility of the Verified Member to update his/her personal details on the Website to ensure timely receipt of the confirmation notice or message. PMFTC shall not be liable for any failure to redeem or use any prize, and will not refund any deducted points, due to non-receipt by the Verified Member of the confirmation notice or message, if sent to his/her registered email address or mobile number.

N.     Verified Members of Marlboro.ph are responsible for updating their personal information and contact numbers relevant for awarding of prizes.

a.      Verified Member may update the following information by logging into Marlboro.ph and accessing the “My Profile” page

                                                     i.     Barangay / Province

                                                    ii.     Brand Preference

                                                   iii.     Email

b.      Mobile number of registered Marlboro.ph account cannot be replaced or updated.

                                                     i.     Participants that have lost access to their original mobile number must contact PMFTC to request deactivation of their original account before creating a new account. Points earned in the original account will be transferred to the participant’s new account upon registration and verification.

O.     Activities, promotion/s and/or campaigns presented in this Website do not serve as a prompt or request, direct or indirect, for you to share any content through any social media channels. By participating in the Promotion, you agree not to share on any social media channel, posts (image or text) or hashtags related to PMFTC brands and/or products, this activity, promotion and/or campaign created by us in any activity or event.

P.      Issuance of rewards, raffle-related notifications, points (as electronic rewards) and electronic or website- related activities are subject to possible delays or changes in program mechanics.

Q.     Tobacco products are not for sale to minors. Government Warning: Cigarette Smoking is Dangerous to Your Health.

II. MECHANICS: INPUTTING UNIQUE PACK CODES

A.      Registered Marlboro.ph members may earn points by entering valid unique pack codes that can be found inside Marlboro packs (“Participant”).

B.      The case-sensitive, alphanumeric (mix of letters and numbers), unique pack code should be inputted in the designated field on the Website and is subject to system validation before it is included in the electronic raffle draw.

C.     The unique pack codes of all Marlboro packs are valid for one-time use in Marlboro.ph;

D.     Only system validated unique pack codes of eligible Marlboro packs will be accepted by the Website. Validation of unique pack codes is done automatically in Marlboro.ph

E.      One (1) validated unique pack code will award points useable for the Instant Prize Lottery, and 1 Raffle Entry for the Marlboro Epic – Analog and Digital Raffle Promotion.

F.      Participant can enter up to three (3) valid unique pack codes per day.

G.     PMFTC reserves the right to change the rewards (number of points, raffle entries, etc) earned per valid unique pack code inputted.

H.     Unique pack codes used/inputted in other PMFTC promotions are no longer valid or useable in Marlboro.ph. Unique pack codes used/inputted in Marlboro.ph are no longer valid or useable in other PMFTC promotions.

I.        PMFTC reserves the right to invalidate / expire unique pack codes based on production date, end of promotions, and other business reasons.

III. MARLBORO EPIC – ANALOG AND DIGITAL RAFFLE PROMOTION

A.      The Marlboro Epic Promotion is an Analog and Digital Raffle Promotion. Raffle entries for the Promotion can be earned in two (2) ways:

a.      An electronic raffle entry may be earned by inputting one (1) valid unique pack code of any Marlboro variant on the Website.

b.      Submitting the upper cover of any genuine Marlboro pack or a raffle stub in drop boxes at participating stores nationwide. (“Participant”)

i.       The Participant must include the following details – name, birthdate, address, contact number and signature on the (1) upper cover of the genuine Marlboro pack; or (2) raffle stub disbursed by the participating store or consumer engagement activities

c.      By submitting an entry, each legal age participant agrees to provide PMFTC Inc. (“PMFTC”), its authorized representatives, and third-party service providers with their personal data. The personal data of the participant such as name, address, birth date, and contact number will be used to determine capacity and eligibility to participate and win in this promo. PMFTC will only process personal data indicated on winning coupons. Personal data on all other raffle coupons will not be processed and will be disposed of. PMFTC will keep the raffle entries for (60) sixty days after the end of the promotion and will be processed in accordance with https://www.pmiprivacy.com/global/en.

B.      All valid raffle entries will give the Participants a chance to win on the scheduled raffle draw:

C.     Each Participant may only win once throughout the duration of the Marlboro Epic – Analog and Digital Raffle Promotion. Participants cannot win multiple prizes.

D.     Raffle entries of Participants who have not yet won will be included in the succeeding draws to give them an opportunity to win.

E.      The winners of this Promotion will be drawn on the scheduled date and will be notified through the email address and/or mobile number provided upon registration on the Website or on the Marlboro pack or Raffle stub. All winners may be subject to the terms and conditions below:

a.      Eligible winners of a Grand Prize are required to submit a valid GIID within 72 hours upon notification even if they have previously submitted. This will be subject to verification by a PMFTC representative. If the winner fails to submit said ID and/or does not meet the eligibility requirements, he/she will be disqualified, and his/her prize will be deemed forfeited. Another winner will be drawn and undergo the same eligibility verification process.

b.      Reasonable efforts will be made to contact eligible winners prior to confirmation of win. Should eligible winners fail to submit a valid GIID within 72 hours upon notification, or do not meet any of the eligibility requirements or fails to comply with the Promotion’s terms and conditions, the winner will be disqualified, and the prize/s will be deemed forfeited. PMFTC reserves the right to draw/select another winner who will undergo the same eligibility verification process.

c.      Verified winners in the raffle draws will be published on the Website.

d.      Once verified:

i.       Verified winners of the Grand Prizes have sixty (60) days from the end of the Promotion Period to claim his/her prize. If the prize remains unclaimed 60 (sixty) days after the end of the Promotion Period, it will be forfeited in favor of PMFTC.

ii.      To claim a Grand Prize from Marlboro Epic – Analog and Digital Raffle Promotion verified winners must present the email and/or SMS from PMFTC, and one (1) valid GIID (acceptable valid Government Issued IDs as proof of age are: Passport, Alien Certificate of Registration, Driver’s License, Firearms License, NBI Clearance Card, Philhealth ID, Postal ID, PRC ID, SSS ID, TIN ID, Unified Multi-Purpose ID or Voter’s ID) that correspond to the profile information used upon registering on the Website. If there is any discrepancy in the documents produced for verification and the registered profile, the winner will be disqualified, and the prizes deemed forfeited.

F.      Unless otherwise provided in these Terms and Conditions, all Prizes are non-transferable nor convertible to other products.

G.     Awarding and delivery of all prizes are subject to the prize / winners policies of Marlboro.ph in section VIII.

H.     In accordance with the Verified Member’s acceptance of the PMI Consumer Privacy Notice when participating in the Promotions, the winners agree to the inclusion of their names and/or photos in any advertising or publicity materials/activities in whatever format, within or outside Marlboro.ph, and including but not limited to posters, videos, or any other materials that PMFTC may produce.

I.        Winners of Marlboro Epic – Analog and Digital Raffle Promotion are eligible to join and to win in other promotions in Marlboro.ph.

V. INSTANT PRIZE LOTTERY MECHANICS

A.      To join the Instant Prize Lottery, Verified Members must earn points (“Participant”). Points can be earned by accomplishing specific tasks or activities specified in Marlboro.ph. Below is the list of tasks/activities that each Participant can do to earn points:

*New tasks/activities may be added to this list from time to time during promo period.

**Points may be set with a multiplier (ie. x2) during a flash promo or as deemed necessary.

B.      Once the task/activity limit is reached, a Participant can no longer earn points by accomplishing the same task/activity, e.g. watching a video several times will not give you extra points, completing an adventure task per stage will not give you extra points

C.     Flash promotions may be added to the list of Activities during the Instant Prize Lottery Promotion Period. The mechanics, points to be earned, and duration of these flash promotions will be communicated through SMS.

D.     Being a Participant and/or earning points does not guarantee that he/she will win in the Instant Prize Lottery.

E.      Only GIID Verified Members may use their points for a chance to win prizes/rewards from the Instant Prize Lottery. The Prizes to be given away are as follows:

*All eGifts will be redeemable through Giftaway and are subject to availability and additional terms and conditions of Giftaway.

**New prizes may be added to this list from time to time during the Instant Prize Lottery Promotion Period. Changes will be communicated through the Website. 

F.      Participants will automatically be informed via Marlboro.poh if a prize/reward has reached the maximum number of winners.

G.     A GIID Verified Member can only spend his/her points for a maximum of ten (10) chances to win per day (12:00am-11:59pm).

H.     Equivalent points will automatically be deducted from the Participant’s account upon confirmation of their redemption for a chance to win their selected prize.

I.        All points redemptions are considered final. Participants may not request for a rebate or return of the points they have redeemed for a chance to win any prize.

J.      PMFTC reserves the right to change the points cost of any item for a chance to win.

K.      PMFTC reserves the right to add/remove a merchant and/or change a voucher value.

L.      Participants will be automatically informed if they have won their selected prize upon deduction of points.

M.     The prizes are non-transferable nor convertible to cash or other products. All Giftaway vouchers are subject to Giftaway and Giftaway participating merchants’ terms and conditions.

N.     Awarding and delivery of all prizes are subject to the prize / winners policies of Marlboro.ph visible in section VIII

O.     Winners in the Instant Prize Lottery are eligible to participate in other ongoing Promotions in Marlboro.ph.

VI. MARLBORO MYSTERY BOX CHALLENGE

A.      Marlboro.ph members may accomplish available tasks in the Marlboro Mystery Box Challenge to earn more points. Each task rewards the participant with 50 points. List are as follows:

               *Additional tasks may be added depending on timings of when the challenge is launched. Frequency of Log-Ins and Unique Pack Code input may change as well.

B.      The first 10000 Marlboro.ph members to accomplish all tasks will be eligible to unlock the Marlboro Mystery Box for a chance to win up to P10,000 GCash eGift or other prizes. The prizes that eligible members can win are as follows:

*All eGifts will be redeemable through Giftaway and are subject to availability and additional terms and conditions of Giftaway.

**Number of winners and denomination of cash prizes may change without prior notice.

C.     Participation in the Marlboro Mystery Box Challenge does not guarantee the chance to open or unlock the Mystery Box. Only the first set of participants to complete all available tasks will be eligible to open the Mystery Box. Number of winners may change without prior notice.

D.     Opening / unlocking of the Marlboro Mystery Box is on a first-come-first-serve basis. Participants that complete all available tasks but are not part of the first 10,000 participants** will be awarded 1000 Points instead.

E.      The prize awarded by each Mystery Box is entirely random. Upon opening of a Mystery Box, the prize awarded is considered final. Participants may not request to replace or return the prize they have won.

F.      Each eligible Participant may only open one (1) Mystery Box throughout the Marlboro Mystery Box Challenge Promotion.

G.     The prizes are non-transferable nor convertible to cash or other products. All Giftaway eGifts are subject to Giftaway and Giftaway participating merchants’ terms and conditions.

H.     Awarding and delivery of all prizes are subject to the prize / winners policies of Marlboro.ph visible in section VIII.

I.        Winners of Marlboro.ph Mystery Box Challenge Promotion are eligible to join and to win in other promotions in Marlboro.ph

VII. MEMBER GET MEMBER PROMOTION

A.      Each Marlboro.ph Verified Member that completed the requirements below will have a unique referral code and may participate in the Member Get Member Promotion:

a.      Account is GIID Verified

b.      Input at least one (1) valid Marlboro Unique Pack Code (“Referrer”)

B.      Referrers may share their unique referral code to friends who are legal age smokers (18 years old and above) and residing in the Philippines (“Referees”).

C.     Referees must complete the requirements below to be considered a successful referral and earn 300 Points:

a.      New Member of the Website

b.      Inputted Referrer’s unique referral code upon registration

c.      Account is GIID Verified

d.      Inputs at least one (1) valid Marlboro Unique Pack Code (“Successful Referral”)

D.     Referrers can earn rewards for each Successful Referral. The rewards are specified below:

a.      First three (2) Successful Referrals: 250 Points each (500 Points Total)

b.      Succeeding Successful Referrals: 100 Points each

E.      Rewards for referrers may change. Such changes will be communicated via SMS.

F.      Referrals from previous Member Get Member promotions will not be credited or included in this promotion. Only new registrations / referrals during the Promo Period September 4 to December 31, 2023 will be eligible for rewards.

G.     Referral codes are unique and non-transferrable.

H.     Attempts to create fraudulent, duplicate, and/or fake accounts will result in automatic disqualification from Marlboro.ph  and a permanent ban from participation in all PMFTC promotions.

VIII. Prize / Winner Policies

A.      For Major Raffle Prizes and Physical Prizes

a.      Winners of Raffle and Physical Prizes will be notified by PMFTC through call, email and/or SMS through the contact details/numbers provided by the Participant upon registration. Once a winner has been contacted, he/she will be given 72 hours to upload his/her valid GIID for the eligibility and verification process.

b.      Reasonable efforts will be made to contact winners prior to public announcement of winners. Should the winner fail to respond to PMFTC’s notification attempts within 72 hours, or do not meet any of the eligibility requirements or fails to comply with the Promotion’s terms and conditions, the winner will be disqualified and the prizes will be deemed forfeited. PMFTC reserves the right to draw/select another winner.

c.      An authorized Third-Party Agency will coordinate and arrange delivery details.

d.      The winner has sixty (60) days from the end of the Promotion Period to claim his/her prize. Unclaimed prizes 61 days after the end of the Promotion Period will be forfeited in favor of PMFTC.

e.      Winners must claim their prizes personally unless stated otherwise. In cases where a winner cannot claim his/her prize personally, an authorized representative who is at least eighteen (18) years old can claim on behalf of the winner provided all the following documents are presented:

                                                     i.     Valid GIID of representative for identity check and age verification;

                                                    ii.     Copy of a valid GIID of winner for identity check and age verification;

                                                   iii.     Signed authorization letter stating that the winner is authorizing the representative to receive the prize. The letter must contain the full name of the winner, full name of the representative and prize/s won. The authorization letter will be surrendered to PMFTC; and

                                                  iv.     PMFTC email/SMS notification to the winner.

B.      For Digital prizes (Giftaway eGifts, Sharetreats E-Vouchers)

a.      Upon confirmation of GIID verification status of winners, PMFTC will send the corresponding prizes via Giftaway to the Participant’s registered mobile number.

                                                     i.     Should there be failure in sending the prize, PMFTC will continue attempting to send the prize. If the issue persists, the winner may be requested to submit a personal email to receive the prize.

                                                    ii.     Verified winners’ prizes will be sent out within 7 working days from verification & redemption.

                                                   iii.     eGift Prizes will only be sent to the registered mobile number at the time of win / awarding.

b.      Upon Participant’s receipt of corresponding Giftaway or Sharetreats voucher/s, the prize is considered claimed. PMFTC is no longer liable for sent out Giftaway or Sharetreats voucher/s.

                                                     i.     eGift Vouchers will only be valid for 180 days from date of receipt.

c.      Use of the Giftaway voucher is subject to the terms and conditions of Giftaway.com.

d.      Use of the Sharetreats voucher is subject to terms and conditions of Sharetreats.com.

e.      Should a Participant report a loss or failure to receive a digital prize they have won, PMFTC will conduct investigation to determine if the E-Voucher/eGift has been used.

                                                     i.     PMFTC will only entertain requests to resend or replace a voucher if the initial voucher redeemed by the Participant is still unused at the time of request.

                                                    ii.     PMFTC will not entertain requests to resend a voucher to a new/different mobile number.  Unused voucher will only be sent to the original number at the time of win.

                                                   iii.     If PMFTC can determine via the Giftaway/Sharetreats platform that the voucher has already been used, PMFTC is no longer liable to resend the voucher of the Participant.

f.        Once the e-gift is received by the winner, errors during redemption encountered at the eGift Provider’s system or website should be reported directly to eGift Provider’s customer care hotline (Giftaway - support@giftaway.ph).  PMFTC is no longer accountable for errors experienced within the eGift provider’s platforms.

C.     By participating in the Promotion, winning Participants agree to the inclusion of their names and/or photos in any advertising or publicity materials/activities in whatever format, within or outside the Website, and including but not limited to posters, videos, or any other materials that PMFTC may produce.

IX. OTHERS

A.      PMFTC will verify the identity and age of the Participants. Participants who fail the eligibility verification shall be informed that they are not eligible to participate and/or win in the Promotions. Winning Participants who do not meet the eligibility requirements or fails to comply with the Promotion’s terms and conditions will be disqualified and their prizes will be deemed forfeited.

B.      One or more Participants using the same mobile number, or a Participant using multiple mobile numbers (and or accounts) to participate in the Promotions will be disqualified. PMFTC reserves the right to hold, suspend, disqualify or block Participant’s account or to terminate his/her participation in the Promotions due to suspicious activity, fraud or any irregular or illegal activity.

C.     Participants that request for account deletion cannot create a new account within 180 days from date of request for deletion.

a.      Account information and website activity of Participants that request for account deletion will be stored for 180 days.

b.      Should a Participant attempt to create a new account within the 180-day period, PMFTC will verify their intent and reactivate their old account.

                                                     i.     Activity on the Participants’ new account (created within the 180-day period) will be forfeited following Section IX. – B, prohibiting participants from using multiple accounts or mobile numbers.

                                                    ii.     If a Participant declines to reactivate their old account, PMFTC reserves the right to decline verification of the new account and both accounts will be deleted.

D.     Participants agree and confirm the following:

1.      that he/she is a legal-age smoker or retailer, 18 years old or above as of the start of the Promotion Period of the relevant Promotion;

2.      that he/she has read and understood the terms & conditions detailed herein;

3.      that he/she  agrees to follow the applicable mechanics of the Promotion and of selecting the winners for it;

4.      that he/she  agrees to assume the risk of loss of or damage to property (collectively “property losses”), or illness or injury (collectively “injuries) that he/she may sustain in connection with his/her participation in the Promotion including receipt/use of any prizes;

5.      that he/she agrees to assume all such risks, foreseeable or otherwise, and hereby release and discharge PMFTC, its affiliates and all other persons and entities connected with the Promotion from any liability for, or any claims that may arise in respect of, any and all property losses and/or injuries whatsoever that he/she may sustain, no matter how any such property losses and/or injuries are caused.

E.      PMFTC will only shoulder final withholding taxes on prizes amounting to more than Php 10,000 except as expressly provided herein. PMFTC will not be liable to the winners for any taxes, costs, liabilities or expenses that may arise out of ownership or use of the prizes.

F.      Employees of PMFTC, its affiliates, advertising and promotions agencies or companies involved in the Promotion, their agents, as well as their respective relatives up to the 2^nd degree of consanguinity or affinity are not eligible to join or win in the Promotions.

G.     PMFTC reserves the right to substitute prizes/rewards (including supplier of such prizes/rewards) or make payments of at least equal or greater value due to, among others, events beyond PMFTC’s control. Circumstances arising outside our control mean that PMFTC is unable to provide such prizes/rewards through the method originally offered under the Promotion.

H.     All decisions of PMFTC and its agents in all matters relating to the interpretation and implementation of this mechanics, as well as the selection of winners are final, and no objections and/or appeals thereon will be entertained.
